Hello, my name is Shannon Ferraro. I am the Permit Technician, and Front Desk Clerk for the Building and Zoning Department in the City of Emmett, Idaho. This is my first office job, and I have been in this role for a little over two years now. I not only accept and prepare building permits for submittal and review; I also support our Building and Zoning Official with his day-to-day administrative work. Everything from Special Use Permits, to Rezoning applications. I facilitate our Official with the building side of operations, as well as the growth that is happening in Emmett. I recently have been certified through the International Code Council, as a Permit Technician! My next goal is to become a Plans Examiner, where I can further my career in the Building Department. I have 3 mini schnauzers, a cat, bearded dragon, fishtank and two jumping spiders. I love animals, and genuinely enjoy helping others through volunteering and service clubs.
